Our courses are designed to create a nurturing environment for youngsters to explore writing and discover the ins and outs of the English language. Students write weekly and teachers provide constructive and detailed feedback to promote enthusiasm and ensure growth. Primary 1~2

Focusing on building a strong English foundation. While having fun, children are exposed to rigorous English exercises to develop accuracy in the use of English.

Primary 3 ~ 4

Aims to consolidate the student's English foundation. Comprehension and Composition strategies will be introduced and practised consistently throughout the course.

Primary 5 ~ 6

Strategies already introduced in Stage 2 will be revised and practised to perfection. New and advanced skills will also be introduced to propel students to ace the PSLE examinations.

WRITING ENRICHMENT CLASSES

2 hours; suitable for ages 7-12, children will be grouped according to grade level

These very popular Writing enrichment classes help children learn English and writing in a meaningful way. Our unique writing pedagogy has helped many students achieve great results. Each lesson is carefully designed to ensure that children benefit from the explicit teaching of writing and language skills. Your child will read and write a variety of texts across genres (narrative, expository, argumentative) within a year! Each lesson will cover:

Reading like a Writer (Comprehension and more!)
Vocabulary
Spelling
Grammar
Writing Workshop (Covering writing strategies, techniques and mechanics)
Writing Task (Weekly in-class writing - Uniquely TWC!)
Journal Writing (Homework to help students develop a voice in their writing)

English Tuition Programme is based on the MOE syllabus and PSLE Examination format. This result-oriented course will help your child prepare for the challenges of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the PSLE examination.
